Privacy

In one breath

Ristikkotupa runs no analytics, shows no adverts, sets no cookies and asks for no account. Every page is built from files on this domain only — no third-party fonts, scripts or pictures.

What stays in this browser

Games are saved with localStorage, a small storage area your browser keeps for each site on each device. Entries named “rtp:…” are written by the games themselves: the puzzle you are in the middle of, statistics per game and level, and your sound and vibration choice. Entries named “tupa:…” are the site’s own: evening or daylight colours, the list of puzzles you have solved, the dates of your solved daily puzzles and the last puzzle you opened, which the “continue” card uses.

That storage is read by the page in your browser and by nothing else. It never travels to us, so we could not connect it with you even if we wanted to.

What the network sees

To deliver a page at all, Cloudflare and our web server have to know your IP address and which page you asked for. Brief technical logs of those requests may be kept for security and for finding faults; they are never used to build profiles or to target advertising.

Wiping the slate

Remove the site’s data in your browser’s settings and every saved game and statistic disappears. A private window forgets everything when it closes. Inside each game, the statistics screen also has its own reset button.
