Terms of use

Who may use it

Anyone may play here, free of charge, for their own enjoyment. Nothing is for sale and nobody needs an account. We only ask that nobody tries to break the site or floods it with automated traffic.

Puzzles and words

The puzzles are generated from word lists that were filtered with care, but lists this large can still contain an odd or rare word. The games are offered as they are, without any guarantee; if a word bothers you, tell us and we will look at it.

Your progress

Saved games live in your browser only. If the browser clears them, we have no copy to bring back, nor do they travel with you to another device.

Texts, design and word lists

The texts, the design and the drawings of this site belong to Ristikkotupa. The word lists are adapted from open sources and remain under their licences (CC BY-SA 4.0 and CC BY 4.0, listed on the About page); you may reuse them under those terms.

The games and these terms may change as the site grows; whatever this page says today is what applies.
